You were “selling the trade” here, and did it using charm, charisma, and love.
This is a little example of how you are “selling” every day, and how you are being “sold”.
Keep an “attentive” eye (pay attention) to your day. See how many of this little transactions happen throughout the day. You’ll be fascinated and perhaps you can start “selling” in a more conscious way.

Nothing is better than showing “how things are done”. It gives confidence to the new member they will be able to sell the product or service when they see “how things are done”. In other words – “Leading by example”

This is a no-brainer. You MUST know your product “in and out”. The best way to do that is to use it yourself.
I will give you an example of this.
If you come into an online opportunity and ONLY buy the “trial” version of the product, how are you going to know the product or service?
What are you going to say when someone asks you: Do you have the whole product?
If you tell them “no”, How do you expect that your prospects are going to “buy the whole thing” when you are NOT doing it? – Leading by example, remember?
